What was your lifestyle & physical activity like before starting the program?

Before entering my program with Tom my lifestyle was pretty active. I would go to the gym 3/4 times a week (prior to this 2020 mess) and stay on a push/pull regimen. My eating habits were not exactly the best, as I would eat out for lunch, go back for a second helping of supper, or grab a snack and mindlessly eat it and throughly enjoy it. I would always grab a soda with my lunch and potentially drink one later that day too. Overall I feel like my activity was acceptable, but I needed to learn and understand how to improve my nutrition.

What made you want to get started?

A co-worker of mine helped me become motivated to learn more about nutrition. He was on a similar (more restrictive) diet plan and I saw him lose 20 lbs over the course of three month. I have always followed Tom and supported his posts, success stories and message about nutrition, just never took the leap to actually give it a try and learn Tom’s magnificent ways! I’m glad I started when I did!

Can you describe your 1 or 2 top goals when you started?

My main goal was to understand my basic nutrition intake, and what I can and could not eat to help me lose weight. This was my major fault, and I needed it fixed!!

My goal weight to obtain was 175lb

In point form, can you list your top 3 achievements with training thus far?

• I reached 170lbs on the scale within 14 weeks

• I have trained my body to accept portion sizes and remain full

• mentally sticking with the program through one of the weirdest times in the world.

What do you like the most about working with me?

I am a very positive person, I really enjoyed your positive attitude and you positive outlook on all of your motivation pieces on your socials.

If you were to refer a friend to, what would you tell them?

I would tell them that this is one of the best “diets” you could ever go on. You can literally have what you have always eaten, just a few minor tweaks. You are always full and never have the starving feeling! You’ll thank yourself in 12 weeks that you started when you did!

If someone was on “the edge” with getting started with my program, what would you say to them?

It is well worth the investment. Better than spending money aimlessly at the gym not fully understanding your potential. Would you rather be at your goals in 3 months, or still at the gym wondering why your body composition hasn’t really changed in 3 months?

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out on their fitness journey that you either learned along the way or would tell them for encouragement?

There is no better time to start than now. Stay off of Instagram or socials wishing you could look like some of them. Many of those accounts have been working out and working on their nutrition for 10+ years. Start small and you will be happier with yourself and you own goals when achieved!

What do you believe I helped you out with the most when it comes to achieving your goals?

You were the accountability piece outside of my wife to help guide me to my goals. I was more of a hands off client but the fact that you were “watching” and able to see my progress as my coach/trainer is what I needed to succeed.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Thank you for helping me achieve my goals and make it possible to get to a goal weight I have never been at since high school! This is only phase 1 of my progression and I am thankful you were there to help me though it! I will keep in contact and you’ll continue to see positive gains from me!!
