I have a passion for health and fitness, and for helping people achieve their goals. When it comes to getting in shape, mental strength is just as important as physical strength. The hardest part is taking the first step in deciding to start. You can do that, and I’ll help you step by step along the way. My goal as a personal trainer is to help you overcome your health and fitness challenges and show you the steps toward achieving your goals. By combining strength training with a flexible and balanced nutritional approach, we have the recipe to set you up for success. Once we get you to your goal, I will teach you how to maintain a balanced and healthy mind for life. You deserve to feel great in your own skin, let’s do this together!

What interested you about becoming a Personal Trainer:

I have always been active, playing sports and working out. I enjoy helping others do the same whether they are just beginning or have been training their whole life. It brings me great joy when I am able to help my clients be successful,whether that is in the gym, in their sports/activities, or daily living.


I have been a Personal Trainer for six years now and have helped hundreds of clients of all ages, ranging from 14-85 years old. My experience and knowledge with nutrition and training allows me to better inform and educate my clients. My goal is to teach my clients how to correctly and most efficiently achieve their personal goals, whether it’s weight loss, sports specific, improving body composition, increasing energy, or improving overall health.
I completed a three month Performance Dietitian internship with EXOS, the global leader for integrated performance training, nutrition, and physical therapy. I had the opportunity to work close with the best of the best. We helped professional athletes (USA Men’s Soccer Team, NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, etc.), college, high school, youth athletes, and the general public improve their performance and longevity. Best fitness advice you have ever received: Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels.


Twin brothers, born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota! We grew up with an active childhood and both played basketball, football, and baseball in High School. We have always loved to stay active through sports, but our upbringing in the nutrition department was far from optimal. We grew up eating a lot of processed foods, fast food, and rarely cooked our own meals. Our active lifestyle was enough to keep us in shape, athletic, and semi healthy through high school. It wasn’t till college when we really took a look at our nutrition and decided it was time for a change if we really wanted the benefits of a healthy body composition and optimal performance from the hard work we were putting in the gym. This began our quest to learn and educate ourselves on everything sports performance and proper nutrition to fuel our workouts and have the energy to push harder, recover faster, and achieve the results we were after.

With tons of trial and error with different diet fads (low carb, high fat, Paleo, Keto, PSMF, etc.) and using our bodies as experiments to find the right balance with our nutrition, we discovered the best strategies from a nutritional standpoint to not only get results ourselves, but to help our clients achieve their personal goals as well!

We fell in love with the process of finding a healthy balance between fitness, nutrition, and a hectic schedule to make this a sustainable and healthy lifestyle change. We became certified personal trainers and started implementing our strategies with our clients. We found it so incredibly rewarding that we were able to positively impact people’s lives with our education and experience through health and fitness.

As personal trainers at our local gyms, we soon realized our ability to help others reach their goals was limited to those around us. We know our system works. So we wanted to reach and help more people, because we believe everyone deserves to look and feel their best. We brought our knowledge, education, and experience to the online world… And Twin Fitness Fix was born.

We are now able to connect with people all over the world and have helped hundreds achieve their health and fitness goals.


Coaching is not all about setting up a diet, adjusting macros, or making a training plan. To us, that’s just a small piece of what we do. Coaching is predominantly about helping people find a way to modify or get a new perspective on their lifestyle to then therefore work those things in. In practice and reality, it’s not always about what is optimal for you as a client, it’s about what is realistic and sustainable and what fits with your personality, your schedule, and your lifestyle. Our goal is to help you find the balance that allows you to progress toward your health and fitness goals without sacrificing more than it’s worth. We want to show you that it is possible to achieve your health and fitness goals in a healthy and enjoyable way allowing you to live your life.


Balanced Nutrition:

Nutrition is a very important part of transforming your physique. We understand that the perfect diet is the one that you can stick to. Let’s make this work for you. We will teach you exactly how to implement flexible dieting into your lifestyle and show you how this plan can work with your schedule. There are no food restrictions on this plan. You can have your cake, and eat it too (respectively).

Resistance Training:

Your training program will be customized to not only be in line with your goals, but will also be manageable with your lifestyle and schedule. Our training programs employ free weights, machines, and body weight exercises. Don’t have a gym membership and limited on equipment? No problem. We can customize at home workouts so you can reach your goals without leaving your home. Whether you can workout 3 or 6 days per week, your customized plan will ensure you are making progress with the proper training techniques and volume your body needs to see results.

Beliefs & Mindset:

It all starts in the mind. We must first change our mindset before we can change our habits. Beliefs are ideas we hold true, and they shape our life, how we behave, and will determine our outcomes. We as coaches understand that building a good belief systems starts with monitoring what you feed your mind through external sources (things we read, listen to, watch, etc.) and what you tell yourself (self-talk). We are here to positively shift your beliefs and mindset and show you that you have the POWER to achieve ANYTHING you set your mind to!

Support & Accountability:

Every week you will be tuning in for our weekly coaching call. These calls are an opportunity to learn from our Registered Dietitian and fitness experts. Sam and Tom hosts the calls and kicks things off with a presentation on nutrition, training, or mindset. Following the presentation, you will have an opportunity to pick their brain regarding any challenges you may have along with the rest of the Twin Fitness Fix community. The calls are designed to keep your motivation levels at an all time high and your transformation journey moving forward.
